Positions are currently available at ITH for GPs ( including those from overseas), a practice RN and a mental health nurse.  Potential applicants for these positions should contact our practice manager, Daphne Kneale in the first instance, on 4322 0700.

We would welcome a podiatrist and from time to time there may  be opportunities for other therapists to join our team.   Contact Daphne Kneale for further information.

We are an accredited, integrative medical practice, working with complementary health therapists.   Our billing is based on private fees. The style of practice is traditional family medicine, with GPs working together with therapists through referrals and case-based liason. Some of our GPs practice nutritional medicine.  The practice, which was started by Dr Penny Caldicott, has five GPs and eleven therapists (Osteopathy, Nutrition, Dietietics, psychology and Clinical Psychology, Kinesiology, Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs, Bush Flower Remedies, Exercise Physiology and Arts Therapy). Our premises are purpose-built, and our practice is fully computerised and paperless, with HIC online. Our treatment room has two practice nurses who work in partnership with our GPs.

The centre provides services from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.  It is supported by a highly experienced practice manager and five well trained, part time receptionists. The centre liaises with Bridges GP After Hours Service (Erina) where our doctors provide one shift per month for after-hours patient care. The Central Coast is a growing area and we provide minimum financial incentives while GPs build up their patient base. We allow flexible working conditions.  GP mentoring is available and training incentives are provided for complementary studies such as ACNEM.
