Recently there have been some more welcome additions to our team and some farewells too:
Dr Cliff Smith joined the ITH team in May as a locum. He is a very experienced GP, with qualifications in obstetrics and gyneacology as well as in general practice. He has had a colourful working life in Papua New Guinea as well as in Australia. We extend a warm welcome to him.
Anne Keniry, registered psychogist also joined the team in May. Since we have lost our mental health care nurse, Anne's skills as a registered and Medicare accredited psychologist are most welcome. Anne consults every Thursday in "50 minute hour" appointments from 9am to 5pm.
Jennifer Younglove, a registered nurse, joined the team as our second practice nurse on the 4th April. We extend a warm welcome to her.
Nicole Wright's stay with us was all too short. She has found that her part-time work in an inland country town has expanded rapidly and she needs to devote more time to that. As a result she is unable to continue at ITH. We wish her well in this new venture and hope to find another podiatrist before too long.
Dr Sarah Bird has had to leave ITH for the time being because of illness in her family. We hope that this will be a temporary departure and that she will be able to return to the practice in time. Our thoughts are with her and she will be missed by her patients and her colleagues.
Dr Raya Grishina-Gunn has left ITH. We wish her well with the coming birth of her baby. A new registrar will take her place in July.
