The Invitation to Health centre was Saturday 19 July at Henry Parry Drive, Wyoming. Mayor Robert Bell officially opened the centre and Petrea King of the Quest for Life Centre was also at the opening. Invitation to Health is an integrative medical centre with a new approach to health and well-being.

Invitation to Health at Wyoming is one of a growing number of innovative health centres at which traditional and alternative medicine is practised. Centre founder, general practitioner Penny Caldicott, said the centre was developed in response to patients’ demands for ‘‘integrated medicine’’.

Doctor and social activist Patch Adams paid a visit to Invitation to Health medical centre at Wyoming. The big-hearted doctor takes clowns and sometimes medical supplies to countries all over the world. Adams was in Sydney this week for the International Conference on Longevity. He told his Central Coast audience that friendship was the best medicine.
