MOVEMENT, SOUND AND IMAGERY

Would you like to tap into your true creativity and joy?

World peace starts with creating peace within oneself. The longest journey for mankind is the journey from the mind into the heart.

This course is your opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery. Each week we explore our vibrational nature through sound-meditation, free movement and guided imagery. Let yourself be amazed at discovering who you truly are, a magnificent being of pure light and love.

About Petrea King:

Petrea was diagnosed with leukaemia at 32 and given 3 months to live.  She was forced to confront and accept the prospect of death.  But the unpredicted happened. She survived.  Since her recovery, Petrea has devoted her life to counselling people, facilitating support groups, running residential programs and lecturing widely on health and healing.  In 1990 she set up the Quest for Life Foundation to further her work. In June 1995, Petrea and the work of Quest for Life moved to Bundanoon in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW.

The Quest for Life Foundation provides a range of residential programs and services that encourage, empower and educate people living with cancer, neurological and other serious illnesses, or who are suffering from grief, stress or trauma and for those who care for them. Since 1985 more than 50,000 people have attended residential programs or counselling with Petrea and her team of trained health professionals.

These life-changing programs provide compassionate support as well as practical self-help techniques and strategies that complement and support people's medical treatment. They enable people to regain a sense of control over their lives and actively participate in their own healing.

Petrea has drawn on her many years’ work to write Your Life Matters, a guide to establishing peace of mind, and living an authentic and fulfilling life.   Your Life Matters is a tonic for our hectic and bewildering times.  In today’s consumer-oriented world, most of us tend to search for happiness outside ourselves – by buying a new car, finding a new partner, getting a new job.  In other words, living from the outside in.

Petrea teaches us how to reverse this and live from the inside out by developing our sense of self, reflecting on our behaviour, and nourishing ourselves. Robyn
