Katia Twyford Osteopath Katia Twyford, registered Osteopath, trained in England and has been practising for 16 years internationally. Dr Susan Ballinger, B.A. Hons. PhD Stress Management
Susan is a founding member and director of ITH. Originally a registered nurse, her career has included teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, and 20 years in private practice as a clinical psychologist. She now practices in Nowra. A major clinical and research interest is in how traumatic stress affects the body and mind. Together with Teresa Connoly and Rosemary Blundo (creative arts therapists), Susan runs five-day intensive therapeutic stress management courses in "The Shed" three to four times a year, using a variety of psychological anbd non-verbal techniques to address stress, depression and anxiety. | |

Dr Denise Wallis PhD Psychology Clinical Psychologist
Denise is a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist who works mostly with adults with Mood Disorders - depression and anxiety. Also Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorder and personality diorders. She specialises in working with adults suffering the long term effects of childhood abuse; this includes sexual, physical and emotional abuse and neglect. Denise is a registered service provider with most of the insurance companies who provide mental care cover.

Lisa graduated from RMIT in 1993 and finds osteopathy a hihly effective modality, not only for relieving musculoskeletal pain, but also for treating children with learning difficulties and behavioural problems.
